Working Principle

Sand Making Rod Mill works by placing steel rods inside a rotating cylindrical drum. As drum rotates at controlled speed, rods tumble and grind material fed into mill. Grinding action is achieved through linear contact between rods and particles, reducing over-crushing and producing more uniform and rounded sand grains. Material gradually moves from feeding end to discharge end due to rotation and inclination of drum. During this process, rods selectively grind material into fine sand, making machine especially suitable for shaping and sizing in sand production applications.
