Introduction

Fine Sand Recovery Machine, also called fine sand recycling system, is designed to collect and reuse fine particles (typically below 0.16mm) that are usually lost during sand washing or dewatering. It effectively solves problem of fine sand loss and low recovery rate in traditional sand processing. This machine combines functions of slurry pumping, cleaning, dehydration, and fine sand separation. It helps increase economic efficiency by improving output quality, reducing sedimentation in sediment ponds, and minimizing environmental impact. With features like high recovery efficiency, compact structure, and easy operation, it has become an essential component in modern sand production systems.

Working Principle

Slurry containing fine sand, discharged from sand washing machine or classifier, flows into a specially designed slurry tank. From there, a slurry pump transports mixture into high-efficiency hydrocyclone. Under centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation inside hydrocyclone, fine sand and water are separated — coarse particles and fine sand are thrown outward and downward, while clean water overflows from top. Separated fine sand is then delivered to a high-frequency dewatering screen. On this vibrating screen, water passes through screen mesh while fine sand is retained and gradually moves forward by vibration. Excess water is drained away, and dewatered fine sand is discharged from front end of screen. Recovered sand can be reintroduced into finished product pile or returned to system for further processing. This closed-cycle process not only improves overall sand recovery rate, but also reduces loss of valuable fine particles, minimizes environmental pollution, and enhances economic efficiency of sand production.
